How to Get to Orcas Island
Washington State Ferry from Anacortes, Washington or Sidney, British Columbia (via Friday Harbor). Car and passenger service.
Kenmore Air provides float plane service from Lake Union in Seattle direct to Deer Harbor. Just minutes away from Rutabaga.
San Juan Airlines (West Isle) provides service from Seattle, Bellingham or Anacortes to Eastsound Airport on Orcas Island.
Private yacht to Deer Harbor Marina, a short walk away.
Directions from ferry:
Once off the ferry, turn left at the top of the ramp, drive approximately 2.5 miles to Deer Harbor Road. Turn left (west). Continue on the winding Deer Harbor Road for approximately 5 more miles. Just past Channel Road, Rutabaga is on your right. Look for our signpost.
